Modern outdoor decking with an advanced co-extruded surface.
Transform balconies, patios, courtyards and other outdoor areas with CoMatex Premium Co-Extruded WPC Deck Tiles. Our tiles combine a wood-plastic composite core with a co-extruded protective outer layer, creating a durable, attractive surface with a modern timber appearance.
What Is Co-Extruded WPC?
Two Layers. One Better-Engineered Tile.
Co-extrusion is an advanced manufacturing process in which two material layers are formed together during extrusion.
For CoMatex Premium WPC Deck Tiles, the composite core is combined with a specially formulated outer layer to create a protective surface around the WPC material.
This gives the tile a more advanced construction than a conventional single-layer WPC product.

Why Co-Extrusion Matters
Enhanced Surface Protection
The co-extruded outer layer provides an additional protective surface over the WPC core.
Consistent Appearance
The outer layer creates the visible finish of the tile and helps maintain a consistent appearance.
Designed for Outdoor Use
The co-extruded construction is designed with outdoor applications in mind.
Premium Construction
Co-extrusion is an advanced manufacturing approach that gives CoMatex Premium WPC Deck Tiles their distinctive layered construction.
Premium WPC Ezi-Deck Tiles
Unlike a basic WPC product, CoMatex Premium WPC Deck Tiles use co-extruded construction, combining the WPC core with a protective outer layer.
The result is a premium composite decking tile designed to provide a modern timber-inspired appearance while offering the practical characteristics of WPC.
The modular interlocking format makes the tiles particularly convenient for projects such as:
- Balconies
- Patios
- Courtyards
- Outdoor entertaining areas
- Rooftop spaces
- Apartment balconies
- Small outdoor areas
CoMatex WPC Deck Tiles Installation Guide
Installing CoMatex WPC deck tiles is a simple way to refresh a balcony, patio, courtyard or outdoor entertaining area. The interlocking tile system is designed for straightforward installation without the need for a traditional timber subframe.
Follow the steps below to prepare your surface, plan your layout and install your tiles.
Before You Start
Check that the installation surface is firm, clean, dry and reasonably level.
Ensure the surface has suitable drainage and does not retain standing water.
Measure the area to calculate how many tiles you need.
Allow the tiles to acclimatise to the outdoor conditions before installation.
Check that the surface and intended application are suitable for the tiles.
Step 1: Prepare the Surface
Remove dirt, leaves, dust and loose debris. Clean the surface and allow it to dry. Check for uneven areas or drainage problems before proceeding.
Step 2: Plan Your Layout
Measure the area and decide which direction the tiles should run. Starting from a straight edge, such as a wall or doorway, can help create a neat finish and minimise cutting.
Step 3: Connect the Tiles
Position two tiles next to each other and align their interlocking connectors. Press them together until the connectors engage securely.
Step 4: Continue Installation
Continue connecting the tiles row by row. Check the alignment regularly and ensure the tiles sit flat on the surface without rocking.
Step 5: Cut Tiles Where Necessary
For edges, corners and obstacles, measure carefully and mark the required cut. Use a suitable cutting tool and follow appropriate safety precautions. Check the tile construction before cutting to avoid damaging the connecting system.
Step 6: Complete the Area
Continue until the entire area is covered. Check the edges, corners and connections to ensure the tiles are secure and properly aligned.
Step 7: Enjoy Your Finished Deck
Once installation is complete, inspect the surface and make any necessary adjustments. Your new tiled area is ready to enhance your outdoor living space.
Step 8: Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean the tiles with water and a mild detergent when required. Use a soft brush to remove dirt, avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive tools, and periodically lift accessible tiles to inspect the underlying surface and drainage.
